We know it’s an investment, but spermatogenesis (the process of creating sperm from stem cells) takes at least 72 days. After this, sperm move to the testicles, where they refine their shape and structure for another 10–14 days. This process cannot be sped up, but you can improve its efficiency at every stage.

Taking SwimClub for the full 90-day cycle gives your body the nutrition it needs to create healthy sperm at every stage of the spermatogenic cycle. For the best chance of pregnancy, continue taking SwimClub throughout the conception journey.

Will I have more ejaculate: Yes, it's possible, but not every man experiences this.

Are there other benefits: Yes! Supplementing with SwimClub can offer holistic health benefits due to the premium ingredients and dosages.

Should I take this with other supplements: It depends. Always consult with a healthcare provider first, but if you are already supplementing with certain ingredients in SwimClub, you may get the daily dose needed from SwimClub and can pause the other supplements.

From Stem Cell To Swimmer

Every single day, millions of stem cells begin their journey to become healthy sperm. But as we know, they don’t all make the cut. Learn how SwimClub supports the spermatogenic cycle at every stage:

WHAT HAPPENS

Spermatogonial stem cells divide to make cells that can become sperm. These continue to divide and change into primary spermatocytes. Toward the end of this stage, these cells copy their DNA so that they are ready to begin meiosis, the special cell division that leads to sperm.

WHY IT MATTERS

This foundational phase maintains a pool of cells that can develop into sperm and prepares their DNA for what comes next.

WHAT HAPPENS

Primary spermatocytes begin the first stage of meiosis, where matching chromosomes pair up and exchange genetic material. After this, the cell divides into two secondary spermatocytes, and the X and Y chromosomes separate randomly. Each new cell gets either an X or a Y chromosome.

WHY IT MATTERS

Now, each sperm cell carries either an X or a Y chromosome, meaning fertilization can result in a female or male offspring.

WHAT HAPPENS

Meiosis II finishes quickly and creates round cells that each have half the usual amount of DNA. These cells then begin to change into sperm—a tail starts to form and mitochondria assemble in the center of the cell to provide the necessary energy for fertilization.

WHY IT MATTERS

Building this motility machinery equips sperm to successfully swim through the female reproductive tract, significantly increasing the chances of reaching and fertilizing an egg.

WHAT HAPPENS

This is when the sperm cell transforms into its recognizable shape: the nucleus becomes smaller and longer, a cap filled with enzymes forms over it, and extra cytoplasm is shed, making the sperm thin, streamlined, and more hydrodynamic.

WHY IT MATTERS

These changes make sperm faster, more efficient, and streamlined swimmers, increasing the likelihood that they’ll break through the egg’s protective layers for successful fertilization.

WHAT HAPPENS

Fully formed sperm are released into the tubules of the testes and then move into the epididymis. There, they continue to optimize their outer shape and surface for successful fertilization. This is where they’re stored until it’s time to start swimming.

WHY IT MATTERS

This maturation ensures sperm are healthy and strong for fertilization upon ejaculation.

Lycopene helps keep sperm DNA intact as it’s packaged during development. It’s especially effective at countering damage from heat, toxins, and aging, making it one of the most rigorously studied nutrients for protecting fertility over time.

Vitamin D helps regulate testosterone levels and supports sperm function through calcium signaling. It’s been linked to higher sperm count, better motility, and improved shape, making it a critical player in reproductive health.

Vitamin E is a powerful fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It supports immune function, circulatory health, and overall cellular integrity. In the context of male fertility, Vitamin E may improve sperm quality by reducing oxidative damage to sperm membranes and DNA, which can enhance motility and overall sperm function.

CoQ10 powers the mitochondria: the tiny engines inside each sperm that drive movement. With more energy, sperm can swim faster and straighter, increasing the chances of reaching the egg. It’s especially helpful for improving motility in men with low baseline levels.

Methylfolate supports DNA synthesis and cell division. It ensures that genetic material is copied and packaged correctly, which helps lower the risk of DNA damage and improves overall sperm quality.

Zinc is essential for sperm formation, hormone regulation, and maintaining the structural integrity of sperm cells. Without enough zinc, sperm tend to lose both form and function.

Spermidine promotes cellular renewal and helps maintain mitochondrial function. It plays a role in autophagy, a natural recycling process that clears out damaged components, which may help extend sperm lifespan and protect DNA.

NAC is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s most powerful antioxidants. It helps protect sperm during development, especially the DNA, and may improve count and motility by creating a healthier environment in the testes and seminal fluid.

L-Carnitine helps transport fat into sperm mitochondria, where it’s turned into energy. More energy means better motility, and better odds of getting where they need to go. It also helps protect sperm during storage and transit.

Selenium helps protect sperm during development and keeps their structure intact, especially in the midsection that powers movement. It also supports antioxidant activity in the testes, creating a safer environment for sperm to form and function.

R-ALA works at the crossroads of energy and protection. It helps recycle other antioxidants like Vitamin C and E, keeping sperm cells defended from everyday damage. At the same time, it supports mitochondrial function, which means stronger, more mobile sperm.

Omega-3 fatty acids help keep sperm flexible and mobile by supporting the fluidity of their outer membrane. This flexibility is key for swimming and for fusing with the egg. Omega-3s also support sperm count and shape, especially in men with poor baseline quality.
